I thought these bowls were awesome! They held up just fine, even when being used to hold chili!
My only complaint is that I wish they were just a little bit larger. They are the perfect size for a bowl of ice cream, cereal, or a small bowl of soup, though.
My favorite thing about these bowls is that when you are done, just rip them up and throw them in your compost. If you are using them around people who don't compost, it creates a great opportunity to show them just how easy it is, and how disposable products don't have to be harmful to the environment. These bowls are decomposed within about 6 weeks, which is really cool!
